What We Offer
What We Offer
Connected Life Counseling is a uniquely designed approach to getting your life to the place where you want to be.
I combine clinical counseling, executive coaching, and psychotherapy to assist you in reframing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I help you uncover your roadblocks and exit the crossroads of your life, moving to a you that is happier, less stressed, and more fulfilled.
Your Connected Life
If you’re visiting this site, it’s likely that some aspect of your life isn’t going the way you would like. That is okay! We can work on that. However, the way we will work may be a little different than you think.
Most people think about who they are and what they do in a very segregated way:

Your Connected Life
If you’re visiting this site, it’s likely that some aspect of your life isn’t going the way you would like. That is okay! We can work on that. However, the way we will work may be a little different than you think.
Most people think about who they are and what they do in a very segregated way:
ME at...
ME (my interior life)
ME with Family and...
And when things go wrong in one of these three buckets, they think all they must do is to address that bucket, and all will be well.
- Job is not, OK? Find a new job.
- Home life stinks? Fix the relationship.
- Thinking sad and depressing thoughts? Work on your mind and all will be well.
If you’ve tried this approach without success, there’s a reason why.
We all live a connected life.
Whether you want to or not, you take home with you to work – and work to home. Think about a time you had an argument with a friend or family member. Did it color how you felt at work that day? Of course, it did. If your manager was angry with you, did it affect how you interacted at home? I would bet there was a connection!
At Connected Life Counseling, the concept of Connected Life is the center of my coaching and therapy approach.
As we work on the area of your life that is the focus of your current crossroads, we’ll examine the other areas as well. We’ll find the places where other aspects of your daily living are impacting your happiness and forward progress in the area where you’re stuck. And we’ll chart a path to a confident, creative future.
How We’ll Engage
Therapies we might use during our time together include:
Coaching. Specific and goal-oriented, coaching concentrates on your strengths and abilities that can be used in new and different ways to improve performance, feel better, make transitions, deal with challenges, achieve goals, and become more successful.
Read more about coaching here.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. An approach to psychotherapy focused on problem-solving and helping you change thought patterns to help change responses to difficult situations. Read more about cognitive behavioral therapy here.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Meditative therapy used for stress management and treating a variety of illnesses such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and immune disorders. Read more about mindfulness therapy here
Person-centered Therapy. An approach to psychotherapy where you take the lead in discussions and the therapist acts as a facilitator leading your process of self-discovery. Read more about person-centered therapy here.
Solution-focused Therapy. An approach to psychotherapy based on solution-building rather than problem-solving. Although it acknowledges present problems and past causes, it predominantly explores an individual’s current resources and future hopes.

What to Expect
In the first session, my focus will be to get to know you, gain a clear understanding of YOU, where you might be stuck, and learn more about what brought you to counseling now.
We will talk about how we can work together and what you can expect during our sessions. I’ll answer your questions and help you set some goals.
As we engage during future sessions, I’ll guide you using a combination of counseling, therapy, and action plans. We will work to bring your future into focus and give you the tools and confidence to take the next steps toward the life you want.
With my help, the new YOU is just ahead! At Connected Life Counseling, the concept of Connected Life is the center of my coaching and therapy approach.
